The deepfake video showed Jaishankar supposedly discussing lessons learned during Operation Sindoor, specifically mentioning a lack of initial response from Pakistan followed by a strong retaliation that caused losses. Fact-checking revealed that Jaishankar's last appearance on the mentioned podcast was in February 2023, predating Operation Sindoor, which took place in 2025, by two years. An AI check of the audio confirmed that it was likely a deepfake.
