Four ex-colleagues, including ex-wife deepfake (Jan 2025)

A former paratrooper and teacher created deepfake porn profiles of four women, including his ex-wife, and posted the images on websites offering sexual services. One victim had a man show up at her home believing a date arranged online was legitimate; it was actually orchestrated by the perpetrator. Victims tracked down the perpetrator themselves after police initially failed to act. The perpetrator was jailed for five years for four counts of stalking and one of revenge porn.
