A viral video circulating on social media falsely depicted Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke announcing the closure of the party’s Delhi social media page. The clip urged supporters to follow a new account, claiming the original page had been taken down.

What happened

In the fabricated footage, Dipke appeared to address followers directly, stating that the Delhi page had been closed and requesting support for a new account. NewsMobile investigated the clip and confirmed it was AI-generated and digitally manipulated. No authentic footage, official social media posts, or credible media reports exist to support the claims made in the video. Neither Dipke nor the Cockroach Janata Party issued any such announcement on their verified channels.

A frame-by-frame examination revealed multiple indicators of AI manipulation, including unnatural facial features, inaccurate lip-syncing, distorted body movements, and inconsistent body proportions. The video also exhibited irregular lighting and shadows, while the background appeared unusually smooth, lacking the depth and texture of authentic recordings. Further analysis using the AI detection tool Hive Moderation flagged the footage as AI-generated with a high probability. The incident highlights the use of synthetic media to deceive followers and manipulate social media presence.
