A study by the American Sunlight Project (ASP) found that women in the U.S. Congress are 70 times more likely to be victims of deepfake pornography than their male counterparts. The study analyzed 11 websites and found 26 members of Congress (25 women and one man) in deepfake content. Content targeting 14 members was removed within 48 hours of ASP notification.
