Vicky Pattison and her husband deepfake (Jan 2025)

Vicky Pattison created deepfake videos of herself and her husband for a Channel 4 documentary to raise awareness about deepfake pornography. The deepfakes were made using actors who were digitally replaced with Pattison and her husband's faces. The video was uploaded to X (formerly Twitter). The documentary aimed to highlight the dangers of deepfakes and their disproportionate impact on women but faced criticism for potentially showing people how to create deepfakes and being disrespectful to victims.
