A deepfake video featuring Senator Raffy Tulfo interviewing cardiologist Willie Ong falsely claims the existence of a new hypertension cure. The video, which has garnered significant views, advises viewers against purchasing losartan and promotes a supposed cure developed by top Filipino cardiologists, including Ong, who allegedly partnered with the national government. Deepfake detection tool Sensity flagged the video as suspicious with a 98% confidence level in pixel analysis and a 99% confidence rate in voice analysis, noting inconsistencies between mouth movements and audio. The original video of Ong shows him discussing urinary tract infections, not a hypertension cure. The deepfake's script is similar to other AI-manipulated clips featuring Ong.
