A teenager used a generative AI tool to blend authentic images of three classmates’ actual faces and clothed bodies with computer-generated images of naked body parts to result in images that appear to show his classmates without clothes. The charges against the teenager were ordered to be dismissed because the state law didn’t consider AI-generated sexually exploitative content of children to be a crime against real children at the time.
