An AI-generated voice clone of President Biden was used in a robocall campaign in New Hampshire. The individual responsible was fined $6 million by the FCC for violating the Truth in Caller ID Act. An independent researcher estimated 244,625 deepfake pornography videos were uploaded to top websites over seven years, with nearly half uploaded in the final nine months. A study showed one in six women in Congress were targeted by AI-generated sexual deepfakes.
