Despite masquerading as a local political commentator with a thick Australian accent, the channel is managed from Brazil and uses synthetic media to target Australian political discourse, specifically promoting One Nation and criticizing Anthony Albanese. The channel has amassed over 3 million views since February across dozens of videos.

What happened

The operation relies on AI to synchronize synthetic audio with the presenter's lip movements, effectively creating a lip-sync deepfake. Forensic analysis conducted by the University at Buffalo’s Media Forensic Lab identified significant artifacts, including unnatural eye movements, disappearing facial features such as moles, and unstable texture flickering around the neckline.
