Eight individuals were apprehended for allegedly creating and distributing deepfake pornographic videos featuring artists under HYBE, including members of BTS and NewJeans. Six of the individuals were arrested for using Telegram chat rooms to aid in the production and circulation of the manipulated videos. HYBE filed a criminal complaint and cooperated with law enforcement to identify and locate the perpetrators.
