In May 2026, a former teacher with Corinth School District was sentenced to five years in prison for creating AI-generated explicit videos of students. The teacher used artificial intelligence (AI) to create the videos.

What happened

Wilson Jones, a former teacher at Corinth Middle School, was sentenced by a federal judge after pleading guilty to one count of child porn possession in November 2025. Corinth police arrested Jones in March 2025 after receiving a complaint. IT staff at Corinth Middle School got an alert to sexually explicit content being downloaded onto his computer. Eight female students, aged 14 to 16, were identified as victims of AI-generated video footage depicting them in sexually exploitative acts. The victims were never filmed; the footage was entirely AI-generated using pictures from the girls’ social media accounts.
