What happened

In April 2026, the FBI searched the residence of a 31-year-old man as part of an investigation into AI-generated child pornography, seizing electronic devices. Over 900 AI-generated images and videos depicting children were found. The suspect allegedly took photos from open-source pages affiliated with South Texas schools and used AI tools to create the images. Authorities identified approximately 30 child victims. The man was arrested on May 19, 2026, and charged with felony possession of computer-generated child pornography.
