Two YouTube channels, Screen Culture and KH Studio, were terminated for creating AI-generated movie trailers for non-existent movies. These channels amassed millions of views and subscribers by misleading viewers with fake previews, violating YouTube’s policies on spam and misleading metadata. One video was a deepfake trailer for a fictional "Barbie 2" featuring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. YouTube initially demonetized both channels in March 2025, then permanently removed them after they reverted to their old practices.
