YouTube terminated two channels, Screen Culture and KH Studio, with over 2 million subscribers and 1 billion views, for creating AI-generated fake movie trailers. These trailers used official studio footage and AI-generated visuals to create realistic 'trailers' for non-existent films, misleading viewers. The channels initially labeled the videos as fan trailers or parodies to regain monetization after initial demonetization, but later removed the disclaimers, leading to their termination. Disney sent a cease-and-desist letter to Google, alleging copyright infringement due to AI training models.
