Multiple instances of deepfake satellite imagery used to exaggerate military successes or depict fabricated events. Examples include exaggerated reports of Ukraine's strike on Russian bombers, a fake image of a destroyed Israeli F-35 following US/Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, and inflated damage claims by both Indian and Pakistani users during a conflict. A fake image depicting a fire near the Pentagon also caused a stock market dip.
