The Times of Israel published an article that included an AI-generated image of a US soldier eating a falafel in Kiryat Gat. The image was taken from an AI-generated TikTok video disseminated by the Kiryat Gat municipality. The editor did not notice the caption specifying that the picture was AI-generated before publishing. Once spotted, the image was taken down.
