A 22-year-old man allegedly used AI to create fake videos and images to manipulate shoppers at a Home Depot. In one incident, he showed a woman a fabricated AI-generated image of her husband kissing another woman. In another, he showed a woman an AI video of her truck being stolen and tried to convince her to leave with him. He recorded their reactions using Meta glasses, possibly for social media content.
