Patrizia Schlosser, a German journalist, was targeted with deepfake images of herself naked and performing sex acts with animals, posted on the Mr DeepFakes website. Mr DeepFakes also hosted deepfakes of female celebrities, politicians, European princesses, wives and daughters of US presidents, depicting them being kidnapped, tortured, shaved, bound, mutilated, raped, and strangled. The site also posted 6,000 pictures of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's face for users to create deepfake pornography. The site shut down on May 4 after investigators believed they had identified Mr DeepFakes.
