ByteDance's Seedance and Seedream AI platforms are accused of infringing on Paramount's intellectual property. The AI platforms generated images and videos of Paramount's franchises and characters, which Paramount alleges is a violation of copyright and trademark law. Disney also sent a cease-and-desist letter to ByteDance regarding similar infringements of Disney's copyrighted characters.
