North Korean and other nation-state actors are using deepfakes of government IDs and AI to pass interviews to get hired as remote IT workers. They then steal intellectual property (IP) and funnel revenue illicitly. The deepfakes are used to bypass traditional background checks and identity providers (IdPs).
