What happened

The victim, Prakash Gubbi, watched a YouTube video in November that appeared to show the Minister promoting an investment plan. A link in the video's description led him to invest, with promises of significant profits. After attempting to withdraw the supposed profits, he was asked to pay additional funds for 'customs duty.' Realizing the deception, Mr. Gubbi reported the incident, which is now under investigation. The report cautioned the public to be vigilant against such scams.
