AI-generated images of Bondi gunman Naveed Akram were used to spread false information online. One image depicted him with an Indian official, falsely implying a connection. A fake Facebook profile with AI-generated images showing him wearing a Jewish yarmulke was also circulated, furthering antisemitic conspiracies. Additionally, misleading images were used to criticize female police officers involved in the response.
