Seniors received phone calls from scammers impersonating their grandchildren, claiming to be in distress and needing bail money after a car accident. The scammers allegedly used AI to clone the voices of the victims' family members. Five seniors in Saskatoon lost a total of $45,000 in November. A man and a woman were arrested after collecting money from a victim's house.
