Voiceover artist Gayanne Potter's voice was allegedly used without permission to train an AI announcer called Iona for ScotRail. She claims her work for ReadSpeaker was intended for accessibility and e-learning software, not wider commercial purposes. The AI voice was a "dreadful" robotic version of her. ScotRail has since replaced Iona with a new AI announcer.
