A woman created an AI-generated image of a man on their couch and sent it to her husband, claiming the man had forced his way into their home. This prompted a 911 call and a police response. The woman later admitted the photo was AI-generated. She was arrested and charged with making a false statement concerning an emergency/crime and providing a false statement to a state official.
