AI was used to clone the voice of Françoise Cadol, the French voice actor for Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider video game series, and incorporate it into an update of Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered without her consent. This resulted in a public outcry from fans and the voice acting community. The game developer, Aspyra, acknowledged the issue and removed the AI-generated voiceover content.
