In early December 2026, a high school freshman used a face-swapping app to create deepfake sexual images of five female classmates. The incident sparked outrage and accusations that the school administration failed to adequately address the abuse.

What happened

The student reportedly spent money on a subscription to an app and used it to superimpose the faces of five female classmates onto nude bodies. The images were then shared among students. While the boy did not attend school the following day, the girls did, along with the boy's friends. Some boys allegedly defended him and denied seeing anything. Parents claim the school administration failed students in the aftermath. The governor spotlighted the school because of the incident.
