Detective Samantha Robinson deepfake (Nov 2025)

A female detective with the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office is alleging a decade of workplace discrimination, retaliation and hostility, including the circulation among co-workers of a sexual AI-generated video of her. The video of Detective Samantha Robinson was allegedly created by fellow Detective Derek Jones while on duty and depicted sexual contact between Robinson and Jones’ father, according to a tort claim filed in Whatcom County on Oct. 23.
