Celebrities, individuals whose faces were used without consent deepfake (May 2025)

Mr. Deepfakes, a website hosting nonconsensual deepfake pornography, has shut down due to a critical service provider terminating service. The site hosted deepfake videos using machine learning to swap faces, often inserting celebrities into pornographic content without their consent. The shutdown coincides with the passage of the Take It Down Act, which criminalizes nonconsensual intimate imagery, including deepfake porn.
