A Bengaluru-based chartered accountant lost Rs 23.20 lakh in a stock investment scam using deepfake videos of Mukesh Ambani, Narayana Murthy, and Sudha Murty. The victim saw the videos on Facebook on October 2, 2024, submitted personal details through a link, and made several transfers totaling Rs 23.20 lakh before realizing the scam. A police case was registered on January 13, 2025.
