On May 21, 2026, a Reddit user posted in r/isthisAI asking whether the host of a YouTube channel was AI. The user suspected that both the narration and the host, named Amy, might be AI-generated.

What happened

The user reported that his wife was watching a video on foot binding when he became suspicious. The user pointed to the voiceover's cadence, prose, and delivery, as well as a slight mismatch between the audio and video of the host. While acknowledging that other content in the video was clearly AI, such as video recreations and still images, the user specifically questioned the narration and the host's presentation. Another user then linked to a shorter clip from the same creator.
