Stylist Law Roach recently addressed viral AI-generated images depicting Zendaya and Tom Holland’s wedding, confirming that the digital creations were inaccurate representations of the actress's actual gown. The comments were made during a June 29, 2026, appearance on Good Morning America.
What happened
Following the circulation of AI-generated photos of Zendaya and Tom Holland's wedding earlier this year, the images successfully deceived many viewers. Zendaya previously addressed the situation on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, noting that several people in her life were upset about not receiving invitations to an event that had not occurred as depicted.
During his interview, Law Roach dismissed the quality of the AI-generated dress, stating that the actual garment is superior to the version produced by artificial intelligence. When asked if the AI creation resembled the real outfit, Roach confirmed it did not. Tom Holland also addressed the viral photos while on a press tour for the movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day. He noted that their immediate family members were not fooled by the synthetic imagery because they had been present at the couple's actual wedding.
