Deepfake phishing scams are using AI-generated videos of known individuals, such as a boss or YouTube CEO Neal Mohan, to trick victims into revealing sensitive information or sending money. A recent scam impersonated YouTube's CEO, announcing fake monetization policy changes and including a link to a fraudulent login page (studio.youtube-plus.com) to steal credentials. Victims are threatened with account restrictions if they don't confirm the changes.
