Warner Bros, Disney, and Universal have filed lawsuits against Midjourney, alleging copyright infringement for allowing users to create images and videos of their characters (Superman, Batman, Bugs Bunny, Darth Vader, Bart Simpson, Shrek, and Ariel) without permission. The companies claim that Midjourney trained its AI service on copyrighted images and videos to offer users high-quality downloadable images of their characters.
