A fabricated AI-generated satellite photo was shared on X by The Tehran Times, falsely claiming to show extensive damage to the US Navy's Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain after Iranian drone and missile strikes. The image was based on real satellite imagery from February 2025 and showed vehicles in the same location, despite allegedly being taken a year apart.
