The defendant pleaded guilty to creating or altering sexual material without consent and distributing it, as well as using a carriage service in a harassing or offensive way. The court heard that the defendant had distributed images of the victim across multiple X accounts without her consent. The case is the first prosecution of its kind under the new national law. The defendant is scheduled to return to court next month.
