Scammers are using AI to impersonate Sir Billy Connolly online, creating deceptive social media and email accounts. They are using his likeness and voice to solicit direct messaging, money, or personal information from fans. His wife, Pamela Stephenson, has also been targeted. They create multiple deceptive social media and email accounts, and there could well be criminal intent. Cloning technology is used to replicate his voice, and deepfake images are employed in scams.
