CNA detected 73 such videos posted between Apr 15 and Apr 19, with 11 containing digitally generated or manipulated visuals of prospective candidates. These videos appeared on TikTok. One video featured an AI-generated portrait of Prime Minister Lawrence Wong with a text-to-speech voiceover in Thai. Some videos depict politicians in unlikely costumes. The tone in the majority of the 11 videos appears negative towards the Singapore government.
