In a post shared on Truth Social in July 2026, President Donald Trump released an AI-generated video featuring synthetic depictions of six prominent celebrity critics. The video portrays the President as a doctor offering a treatment plan to individuals allegedly suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS).

What happened

The video depicts an AI-generated version of Donald Trump introducing himself as "Dr. Trump" to assist patients. The clip features synthetic versions of Rosie O’Donnell, John Leguizamo, Whoopi Goldberg, Edward Norton, Robert De Niro, and Julia Roberts. Each AI-generated celebrity delivers a scripted testimonial describing their supposed symptoms, such as an inability to sleep or eat, and claiming that the treatment plan provided results.

In the video, the AI-generated Trump character offers a "treatment plan" that includes turning off news media, saying prayers, and drinking Diet Coke to resolve their condition. This incident follows a previous instance in which the President shared an AI-generated image of himself depicted as a doctor. Media outlets have reached out to the involved celebrities for comment regarding the AI-generated content.
