The lawsuit was filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois by Lindsey Dorcus, Carol Marin, Philip Rogers, Alison Flowers, Robin Amer, Yohance Lacour, and Victoria Nassif. The plaintiffs are voice professionals, including Pulitzer Prize winners and Peabody Award recipients, whose voices were publicly accessible through their work. They allege that Adobe used their voices without permission. This is reportedly the ninth lawsuit in a series filed by voice professionals challenging the unauthorized use of voice.
