What happened

The image began circulating on social media, falsely suggesting a new mug shot of the rapper had been released. Sources with direct knowledge of the situation confirmed to TMZ that the image is not authentic. While Durk currently sports a short haircut, he is not bald as the AI-generated image suggests. When contacted regarding the image, a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles stated that such photos are not releasable, further debunking the viral post.

Lil Durk has been held in federal custody since his October 2024 arrest related to an alleged murder-for-hire plot.
