A deepfake video of Accenture CEO Julie Sweet was used in an attempt to defraud the company. The deepfake 'Julie' appeared on a video call with the company's finance head, instructing them to transfer funds in response to an urgent request from a supposed attorney (who was off-camera). The CFO recognized the scam and validated the request, preventing the transfer of funds.
