The Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (I&B) released two AI-generated videos depicting individuals with uncovered heads and shorn hair playing musical instruments at the sarovar (holy tank) of the Golden Temple in Amritsar. These videos were shared on the ministry’s official YouTube and social media platforms and were later removed following objections from the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC).
