A group in Brazil used deepfake videos featuring Gisele Bündchen and other celebrities on Instagram to promote fraudulent advertising campaigns, including a cosmetic product and free suitcases offer. Victims lost small amounts of money, and the scammers profited millions. Four suspects were arrested, and assets were frozen. The investigation began in August 2024.
