What happened
Roos allegedly tried to entice minors into sexually explicit conduct and then produced visual depictions that he distributed and possessed as child pornography. This allegedly occurred at the school over several years. Police seized pens with hidden cameras and a USB drive from Roos’s classroom. The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children alerted law enforcement to potential child sexual abuse materials. Multiple victims were identified. Roos remains on paid leave. If convicted, he faces up to 120 years in prison.
