What happened

Mirza Rehmath Baigh reported that unidentified individuals initiated internet-based calls to demand money, threatening to damage his reputation by circulating deepfake videos of him if he failed to pay. The MLC expressed suspicion that the threats may have been orchestrated by his political rivals, describing the incident as a deliberate attempt to tarnish his public image.
